Mountain Home

This mountain getaway home north of Atlanta, Georgia, features many custom elements designed by Stewart Mohr Designs to showcase the client’s art glass collection. We worked closely with the client, architect and builder from the preliminary design stage.

The curved entry wall is covered in leather tiles and defines the entrance foyer as well as creating an art focal point — the staircase was designed to appear as if floating, supported by a rhododendron plant sculpted from bronze. These were just a few of SMD’s artistic touches that make this home a showcase.
