Bill Stewart established his residential design firm, William Stewart Designs, in 1985. The firm’s name was later changed to Stewart Mohr Designs. Bill feels that his most successful projects are those that combine his creativity and professional eye with his client’s sense of style and personality. Therefore his projects have a wonderful variety from traditional to modern, from formal to casual.
Some of his projects have included Palm Beach estates, high-rise condominiums, homes on Lake Rabun, Lake Lanier and a Normandy home on Lake Toxaway, beach homes on the Florida Gulf Coast, homes in Malibu Canyon and Palm Springs, private yachts, and of course multiple residences in Buckhead.
Bill has been published in Trends, Art and Antiques, House and Garden, House and Garden – South Africa, Atlanta Magazine, Veranda, Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, Jezebel Magazine, Metropolitan Home, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. His publication record also includes contributions to several books, including House and Garden’s Book of Style, Living Large in Small Spaces, and Dream Homes Florida. He was featured in a Georgia Public Television series on interior designers in Georgia.
Bill Stewart is a graduate of the University of Florida.
