Margot came to Atlanta from Rochester, NY, when she transferred here with the Eastman Kodak Company in 1980, and worked for 17 years in the Quality Control /Professional Photography Division.
Margot received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Georgia State University in 1996, thus entering into the accounting world of Architecture, Engineering, Design, and Construction. And in 2014, Margot graduated Cum Laude with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Margot has worked with some of the most prestigious firms in the Atlanta area, and on some of Atlanta’s most notable projects: the 5th Runway at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the City of Atlanta Public Safety Building, the Atlanta Botanical Garden Skywalk Project, and the Emory University Student Housing Project.
Margot also loves giving back to the community by serving on the board or as a committee member of The Morehouse School of Medicine SAMSHA Advisory Committee, Hope for Women Recovery Services of Atlanta, The Boy Scouts of America, and The Atlanta Black-Jewish Coalition just to name a few.
Margot enjoys traveling, dining out, attending church, and spending time with friends and family.
